This week we celebrated graduation. We enjoyed our guest speaker, Dr Betsy Rosenbalm; as well as, Mr. Kyle Hayman, the Mayor for the City of Conover. We are so proud of our graduates and wish them nothing but the best. #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week in... Pre-Kindergarten:: We enjoyed time in PE. Elementary:: We worked hard on our fine motor skills. Middle School:: We enjoyed a book with a visitor. High School:: We enjoyed hanging out with our friends. #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week at school... Pre-Kindergarten:: We enjoyed having Mrs Karla visit for art. Elementary School:: We enjoyed having our specialists visit our classroom. Middle School:: We tried new foods. High School:: We enjoyed a trip to Outback for delicious food. #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week at school... Pre-Kindergarten:: We enjoyed working on our counting skills using dominoes. Elementary to High School:: We enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics! #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week at school: Pre-Kindergarten:: We loved building structures. Elementary:: We enjoyed building insects with play-dough. Middle School:: We love getting hugs from our teachers. High School:: We celebrated banana day by making sandwiches. #whatdoesyourdashmean

Also this week, we had a visit from Balls Creek Elementary PE Club. They performed jump rope and unicycle skills. We even got our own Mrs. Mateyunas, on a unicycle. #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week at school:: Pre-Kindergarten:: We worked to learn our letters by using cookie cutters and play-dough. Elementary School:: We enjoyed our time with Coach Ryan in PE. Middle School:: We enjoyed a field trip to "Rock The Spectrum." High School:: We enjoyed a field trip to "Riverbend Creamery." #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week... Pre-Kindergarten:: We had a visit from Catawba Science Center. Elementary School:: We made pizza in honor of "Pi Day." Middle School:: We explored the creatures that we found in the garden. High School:: We put in hard work in our garden. #whatdoesyourdashmean

This week, we had a visit from the Cat in the Hat. #whatdoesyourdashmean

Middle School:: We enjoyed our visit with Jasper, our therapy dog. High School:: We enjoyed our time with Coach Ryan in PE. Also, several classes in our school baked and packaged cookies for troops/veterans.
