Elementary School:: We enjoyed having a special visitor read to us.
Middle School:: We practiced writing and sorting coins.
High School:: We enjoyed a trip to the public library.

Newton-Conover City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Students and Staff on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Kid Connection will operate on a 2-hour delay as well. If further modifications to the school day are necessary, additional notifications will occur.
This week at school::

Elementary:: We enjoyed strengthening our muscles using play-doh.
Middle:: We worked hard in PE with our teachers.
High:: We enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree at Conover Station.
Staff:: We enjoyed volunteering at the Christmas Bureau.

Newton-Conover City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Students and Staff on Friday, December 5, 2025. Kid Connection will operate on a 2-hour delay as well. As projections are uncertain and varied, weather will continue to be monitored overnight and further school delay or closure may still occur. If further modifications to the school day are necessary, additional notifications will occur.
Please join us for our annual Bikers Run, held at NCHS gymnasium, Saturday, December 6.. Families should report at 12:00PM. Be sure to bring cash as we will have crafts available and raffle baskets. Please support our Crafty Chameleons as they sell their craft items at a booth in Conover's Christmas event. They will be set up at Booth 26, around the corner from Santa. The proceeds will benefit the large trip in the Spring to Pennsylvania.

Last Friday, we had our annual Trunk or Treat event. A good time was had by all who attended. Thank you so very much to those that participated.
